On October 3, 2015, Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer pitched a truly phenomenal no-hitter, striking out seventeen Mets and walking no one. It was the second no hitter of the season for the right handed hurler, who became the first to accomplish the feat twice in one year since Johnny Vander Meer in 1938. The offered game used first base (in use from the fourth to the sixth inning) has 6-1/2 x 1” Mets logo plates affixed to all four sides and comes with its original stand, which was used to attach the base to the infield dirt. The 15x15” diamond accessory comes with appropriate single game wear, including dirt/cleat marks as well as grass stains and comes with an MLB Authentication hologram.
