Graded NM 7 by PSA. “To open or not to open” is the tantalizing proposition laid before the fortunate victor of the offered 1957 Topps Baseball unopened wax pack! Only 16 total copies have been validated by PSA (much less than a full box) with five having reached the NM 7 level with six better. The back “Blony” advertising wax folds are tight with four perfectly square corners. The sliding baserunner design complete with the hefty five-cent price tag and manufacturer name is exceptionally bright and attractive. Due to storing methods, moderate splitting is discernable over a 1-1/2” portion of both the upper and lower edges. Additional evidence of slight wrapper contusions is evident along the left and right edges. It is unknown if the inner contents are affected and only a microscopic portion of the bubble gum has seeped through the packaging. Despite the splitting, the cardboard contents could yield some serious prizes. While the series is unknown, the prospect of a high-grade “pull” or low pop common is certainly in play.
