Known primarily for being the Phillies first-ever and long-awaited World Series conquest, the 1980 World Series was additionally marked by the fence-clearing exploits of Willie Mays Aikens and by George Brett's well-documented bout with hemorrhoids. Ultimately, Michael Jack Schmidt emerged from the exploits of the American League challengers victoriously as the Series MVP. Presented is a full ticket that measures 2 x 5-1/2" that is encapsulated and graded VG/EX 4 by PSA. The decisive home game voucher identical stars-and-stripes design and MLB silhouette event logo, as well as printed seating and rain check legends and the "Philly Phantic". Sharp edges/corners are present throughout, though the colors have become slightly faded over time and there are some light creases.
