Description

Jack Dempsey and Gene Tunney met in a clash of the titans of the sport, the turning point of which was a left hook that Dempsey used to floor Tunney and leave little doubt about who should win the match. Offered is the original 1926 fight ticket from their epic bout in Philadelphia on September 23, 1926; Tunney won the fight by unanimous decision in ten rounds setting up the rematch a year later. Encapsulated and assessed “Authentic” by PSA, the ticket is missing two pieces along the side, tape and has a partial tear along the bottom of the collectible. An excellent collectible, the “Ringside” voucher is a must-have for vintage boxing enthusiasts with clear event details and bold writing.
