Description



Built in 1926 specifically for auto racing (rather than horse racing), Langhorne Speedway blossomed into a popular championship destination and earned the nicknames "The Big Left Turn" and "The Track That Ate the Heroes. It closed its gates in 1971. These programs from the "100 Mile National Championship" feature "7-10" pencil signatures. Includes: 1959 - VG-EX w/period notations on the entry list and line-up pages, signed by Elmer George and Van Johnson (pen). 1964 - VG w/cover staining, signed by Bob Unser, Johnny Rutherford, Parnelli Jones, Jim McElreath, Arnold Knepper, Norm Hall, Bob Marshman, Jud Larson, Bud Tinglestad, Bruce Jacobs.
