Description

As A.L. West combatants Texas and Oakland enjoyed a "Turn Back the Clock" weekend in July 2002, Rangers bullpen catcher Nate Lasseter wore this Washington Senators throwback road jersey during the weekend series at Network Associates Coliseum. The gray knit button-down garment features "WASHINGTON" arched across the chest in blue twill and "65" sewn to the back in like fashion. The size "48" jersey has proper "Rawlings” tagging and was tailored to the specifications of the 1961-1962 Senators gamers and features light game wear. The lot also includes a “team-used” batting helmet from the aforementioned series that features heavy game wear including ball and bat rack marks. Comes with an LOA on Texas Rangers letterhead signed by Richard L. McLaughlin, Executive Vice President, Business Operations for both items.
