Description

Following his "Big Apple" arrival in 1920, George Herman (Babe) Ruth instantly became the "toast of the town." At both the mound and plate, the Baltimore southpaw was a game-changing legend. Graded 20 Fair 1.5 by SGC. Offered is a 1921 E121 American Caramel Babe Ruth showcasing the Hall of Famer as a member of the Boston Red Sox. The fielding/pitching pose of the Class of 1936 Hall of Famer is crease-free and presents (VG to VG-EX) with only moderate corner and edge wear. Although the reverse displays a coating of glue residue, the advertising back still features bold typeface.
