Dave Steckel played six seasons for the Washington Capitals as a physical forward who had a role helping with faceoffs, especially in the offensive zone. The Milwaukee-born player is the subject of this 2009-10 Dave Steckel Game Used jersey that features light wear including dirt/sweat marks. The Washington Capitals home jersey was worn on Saturday, March 6, 2010 against the New York Rangers, a game in which the Caps shut out the “Broadway” ice squad 2-0 behind a Jose Theodore shutout. The CCM size 58 shirt is from a special, one-game promotion which featured a unique “Washington Capitals 35 Seasons, Established 1974” logo on the right shoulder. The jersey is otherwise consistent with most Caps home jerseys with “Washington Capitals” sewn on the front in the same fashion as “Steckel 39” is on the back. Both shoulders have a “Washington Eagle” logo above the white number “39”; comes with a LOA from Mei-Gray and the Washington Capitals for game use.
