Long before tickets were scanned, fans entered the ballpark ceremoniously, handed their tickets over, took back the stub and advanced through a turnstile whose mechanical counter accounted for the gospel truth in terms of attendance. This Crosley Field relic was used during the Deadball Era at the since-razed Queen City venue. Standing 41”-tall and 41” at its widest point, the cast iron heirloom features four two-bar dividers and a functioning pedal to facilitate unlocking and fan entry. Atop the piece is a brass counter lid with “H.V. BRIGHT MAKER CLEVELAND, O.” in raised characters. A patent dates reads “1910.” Molded to a 16”-diameter base, the item shows rust and chipping about the green paint, all consistent with seasons of big league use!

Note due to the size/weight of this item, a shipping surcharge will apply.
