The 1926 Washington Senators, two years removed from their 1924 World Series victory, finished in fourth place with a 81-69 record. They certainly were not last in the American league as the end of the famed saying would lead you to believe; Walter Johnson managed 15 wins (albeit with 16 losses) in the second to last year of his career. The presented blue and red stitched OAL Reach baseball in VG-EX condition features (5) signatures (including three Hall of Famers) from that club: Goslin (d. 1971, “5-6”), Harris (d. 1977, “7-8”), Judge (d. 1963, “4”), Reeves (“5”), Rice (d.1974, “4-5”). Although the OAL Reach orb does feature moderate shellacking, it still presents well with the stampings almost completely legible; comes with a full photo LOA from JSA.
