Description

The labelling period here straddles Robinson's transition from Cincinnati to Baltimore and includes the history-making Triple Crown season when he became the first (and still only) ballplayer to capture MVP Awards in
both leagues. Not to mention winning the World Series MVP for bringing home the O's championship that year! Baltimore teammate Eddie Fisher's accompanying signed LOA reads, "I, Eddie Fisher, played Major League Baseball for 15 seasons from 1959 to 1973, with an All-Star appearance in 1965. I played alongside Frank Robinson for 2 seasons, 1966 and 1967. I was given this bat by Frank Robinson during the 1960s." Robinson's uncracked 35", 35-oz. Louisville Slugger bat has medium usage overall with ball marks, stitch marks, bat rack marks and cleat marks. Full LOA from MEARS. Graded A7.
