An autograph feast is served, with this pair of multi-signed sports banquet programs. 

The renowned Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston was the site of the BBWAA Boston Chapter's 12th Annual Dinner. Held on 2/1/51, this event honored several Boston Red Sox and Braves players. The offered dinner program from this banquet has a moderate vertical fold, but remains sturdy and attractive. Obviously the Boston baseball writers knew what they were doing, as the last page of the program was planned for autographs, and this one is signed by (21) attendees with average ("8-9") potency. (11) signers are baseball players or executives, with: Lou Boudreau (HOF), Billy Goodman, "Happy" Chandler (HOF), Eddie Collins (HOF, d.1951), Sam Jethroe, Benny Bengough (d.1968), Vern Bickford (d.1960), Walt Dropo, Lou Perini (Boston Braves owner, d.1972), "Birdie" Tebbets, and Ray Scarborough. The other signers are mostly sportswriters, along with one soldier. 

The other program of this offering is from the Penn Harris Motor Inn in Camp Hill, PA., for the Family Club Twenty-Third Annual Sports Dinner, held on 1/25/77. This fairly well-preserved program is signed by (2) on the front cover, with: baseball Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle ("9"), and Penn State football star Mickey Shuler, who went on to a lengthy NFL career with the NY Jets and Philadelphia Eagles.
