Circa 1910 Red Border Notebook Covers near set of (6/8) players. With an appearance that is reminiscent of the larger cabinet premiums of the day, the manufacturer of this paper-thin release is currently unknown. This anonymous selection measures nearly 4-1/2 x 6-3/4” with the original bordering having been trimmed to the “red frameline.” Each big leaguer displays reverse residue and the delicate perimeters have sustained varying degrees of wear. Includes: Bresnahan, E. Collins, Griffith, Lajoie, Mathewson (missing piece of lower edge) and Wagner (missing lower right corner).
