While now one of the most storied rivalries in all of college football, on October 15, 1927, patrons at Baltimore’s Memorial Stadium had no clue they were witnessing the birth of a classic game: Navy vs. Notre Dame. This publication presents rich cover colors, and on the inside, the evident wrinkling, toning, and other light wear do little to detract from these first-ever Knute Rockne images!
