Circa 1909 Ty Cobb advertising cut-out with the identical portrait from the E95 Philadelphia Caramel designation. This scarce piece on typical cardboard stock was neatly extracted by the original owner and prominently displayed in the decades since. Despite an upper middle edge pin hole, lower edge writing and a series of creases, the haunting image of the fiery Georgian is unmistakable. The reverse which details "jelly confections" and other yummy treats are presumed to hail from the manufacturer, but cannot be confirmed. An intriguing uncatalogued piece from Cobb's heyday!
