If you’ve ever wondered who actually paid the bills for the Raiders in the 1970s, the (10) checks in this lot personally signed by Al Davis should put that question to rest! Davis’ tight signature appears on the lower right of each check, which features a sharp Oakland Raiders team logo on the upper left. Look for vendors like the Oakland Tribune, Pacific Telephone, and Greyhound Bus among the checks. Autographs generally average “9” strength with the majority better and only the occasional lesser.
